History

Beaver Meadows Golf Club was established in 1965 as a private member owned facility. Originally designed by Bailey
and Associates, Beaver Meadows had several holes renovated by local architect Barry Jordan. Completed in 2003, the
renovations included new ponds, which increased our irrigation water storage capacity from 1.5 million gallons to
more than 6 million gallons. Areas with poor drainage were rebuilt. This included a completely new green on the
fourth hole. New tees were added to the 11th and 12th holes and several other tees were rebuilt. We have an ongoing
tee upgrade program in effect.

Beaver Meadows has a radio controlled irrigation system which allows us to irrigate all of our bent grass tees,
fairways and greens. With our expanded water supply, our members will be able to play a green course even during
the driest of summers.

The course plays to a little over 6,800 yards from the blue tees. Five sets of tees makes Beaver Meadows
challenging for the expert, yet enjoyable for the novice.

Over the past several years, the Board of Directors has made a substantial investment to upgrade the Course, hire
the best superintendent and update equipment.

If a pristine golf course, easy to walk and set in a quiet country setting interests you, then this best kept
secret in Central New York is the place for you.
